Aurora Walk – Guided Northern Lights hunt on Snowshoes

Your stay at Onga includes a daily aurora walk, where we seek out the perfect spot to watch the northern lights. After dinner, we’ll put on our snowshoes and warm clothes and start exploring the area. By taking a short walk just outside Onga there is no light pollution, allowing the colorful lights to dance freely above us.

You will learn more about the science and history of this fascinating natural phenomenon, and our hosts are eager to help you capture the perfect holiday picture.

Depending on the weather, we’ll spend about 45–60 minutes by the fire before a short walk back to Onga lodge.
