Onga Lodge with special accommodation in Aurora Domes

Our newly renovated lodge has cozy ensuite rooms with access to private or shared Aurora Domes. This picturesque set up with a location in the pine forest in Mathisdalen, only 45 minutes drive from Alta airport, gives you an unforgettable stay and personal service in the wilderness.

When you stay at Onga, you are getting the unique opportunity to stay in your private glass-igloo. This allows you to sleep under the dancing Northern Lights, while still staying warm and comfy inside. 

Our chef has a passion for creating cuisine with local ingredients such as reindeer meat, fish, berries, mushrooms etc. The breakfast buffet and 3-course dinner are always included in our room rates and a 2-course lunch is also available.

In addition to relaxing in beautiful surroundings, you can participate in a range of exciting winter activities such as snowshoeing, dog sledding, a snowmobile safari etc. We also offer packages that include airport transfer, accommodation, meals, chosen activities and more.
