This package offers a peaceful retreat with a cozy stay, delicious cuisine, rejuvenating sauna and jacuzzi, and, above all, the calming experience of watching the Northern Lights in Alta, Norway. All without leaving the comfort of the lodge.

This package includes comfortable accommodation, full-board meals to keep you energized, and also a convenient airport pickup and delivery to start and end your journey seamlessly.

Alta’s climate and ONGA’s remote location make it one of the best places in the world to experience the Northern Lights with clear skies and no light pollution.

Delicious Arctic cuisine

At our restaurant you can indulge in culinary delights crafted from locally sourced ingredients by our chef. Thus, our culinary menu includes a breakfast buffet, warm lunch, and a three-course dinner. In addition to this, during our favourite Afternoon Tea, you can learn more about the local history and culture.

Aurora Domes

You’ll also have exclusive access to our Aurora Dome, offering either a shared or private indoor viewing experience for stargazing and watching the Northern lights in Alta, Norway.

Sauna and Outdoor Jacuzzi

The Aurora Escape package also includes ONGA Serenity Sessions in our woodfired sauna and outdoor jacuzzi where you can relax and unwind. For the daring you can combine it with a refreshing snow bath. Additionally, you’ll have access to snowshoes and our special skishoes to explore the tranquil nature at ONGA at your own pace.

Northern Lights walks

Last, but not least, your stay at ONGA includes a Daily Aurora walk, where we seek out the perfect spot to watch the Northern Lights. By taking a short walk just outside the lodge there is no light pollution, allowing the colorful lights to dance freely above you. You will learn more about the science and history of this fascinating natural phenomenon, while our hosts will be eager to help you capture the perfect holiday picture.
