Experience the magic of the Arctic summer deep in the forest, where long, light-filled days create a sense of calm and timelessness. At ONGA Boutique Lodge, the beauty of nature surrounds you, quietly interrupted only by birdsong and the gentle flow of the nearby river.
The summer months bring fresh air and pleasant temperatures, making ONGA the perfect destination for a coolcation and slow travel. Here, days unfold at your own pace: hike through peaceful landscapes, unwind in the sauna, or simply pause and take in the stillness.
Guests are invited to immerse themselves in a nature-based escape with easy access to scenic hiking trails right outside the lodge. The region also offers unique cultural experiences, including two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Alta’s prehistoric rock art and the Struve Geodetic Arc. During the snow-free season, the outdoor area of Alta Museum is open, with accessible walking paths that allow you to explore this remarkable heritage up close.
To ensure a truly relaxing and immersive stay, a minimum of two nights is required giving you the time to settle in, slow down, and fully experience life at ONGA.
