Step into the stillness of the Arctic winter with a guided snowshoe walk from ONGA Boutique Lodge. This gentle experience invites you to slow down and explore snow-covered forest around the lodge, where crisp air, soft light, and snowy landscapes create a truly peaceful atmosphere. Walking at a relaxed pace, you’ll connect with nature, learn about the local environment, and pause along the way to enjoy a warm drink – an authentic and calming winter moment in Northern Norway.
Step quietly into the winter landscape on a guided snowshoe hike through the peaceful surroundings of ONGA Boutique Lodge. Snowshoes allow you to move easily across deep snow and explore areas that would otherwise be difficult to reach during the Arctic winter.
After a short introduction to the equipment and basic walking technique, your guide will lead you along gentle forest trails starting from the lodge. The route winds through silent Arctic woodland, where snow-covered trees, fresh tracks in the snow, and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape create a truly magical winter atmosphere.
Along the way, your guide will share insights about the local nature and environment while you enjoy the calm rhythm of walking through the snow. During the hike, you will stop at a scenic spot to warm up with a hot drink, taking a moment to pause, breathe in the crisp Arctic air, and fully experience the quiet beauty of winter in Northern Norway.
