Gather leaves and grasses around ONGA Boutique Lodge, then handcraft a botanical plate as a lasting memory of your time in Alta — a little piece of stillness to take home.

Before the workshop begins, take a quiet stroll around ONGA Boutique Lodge to gather leaves, wild grasses, or small treasures from the land. Then we’ll turn those simple finds into timeless ceramic keepsakes.
With gentle guidance, you’ll hand-build your own botanical plate pressing your chosen leaf or plant into soft clay to capture its delicate imprint. Choose your glaze, and we’ll handle the firing so your piece becomes a lasting memory of your time in the Arctic.
This workshop is designed for everyone, no experience needed, only curiosity and a willingness to slow down. Along the way, you’ll learn about the craft of ceramics and the natural materials that surround us here in Alta.
When your piece is ready, we’ll send it safely to your home — a small, tangible piece of ONGA, carrying the stillness of the North back to you.

- Season: all year round (except May and June, when ONGA is closed)
- Price: 3200 NOK per person
- Included: guidance by a local ceramics artist, clay and tools, firing and glazing, packaging and shipping to your home
