Arrival in Alta and private transfer through quiet Arctic landscapes to ONGA Boutique Lodge – where the road ends, a different rhythm begins.

ONGA Boutique Lodge features 10 comfortable double rooms designed for small groups seeking privacy and connection in an intimate Arctic setting. Nine rooms include one double bed, while one room offers two single beds. The lodge can accommodate up to 10 guests in private single occupancy rooms, or up to 20 guests when sharing rooms.
Can ONGA organize activities and transportation?

How far is ONGA from Alta Airport?
ONGA Boutique Lodge is located just outside Alta in the beautiful Mathisdalen Valley, approximately 40 minutes by car from Alta Airport. The final 4 kilometers follow a quiet forest road, creating a true sense of escape with no traffic, no neighbors and nothing but Arctic nature surrounding the lodge.
How to travel to Alta?
Alta is located in Finnmark county, in the far north of Norway surrounded by vast Arctic landscapes and easily accessible by air. Alta Airport serves as the main gateway to the region. The airport offers regular domestic connections, including daily routes to and from Oslo Airport Gardermoen (approx. 2 hours flight time) and Tromsø Airport (approx. 30 minutes flight time).
Alta is also accessible via selected international routes, including seasonal flights from Frankfurt with Discover Airlines and connections via Helsinki with Finnair.
For guests arriving by private aircraft, Alta Airport accommodates private jets.
From Alta Airport, ONGA Boutique Lodge is approximately a 40-minute drive.
Do you have a meeting room?
Yes, ONGA Boutique Lodge offers a spacious meeting room equipped with a large smart screen, combining practical functionality with a warm and relaxed atmosphere enhanced by a wood-burning fireplace.
For more inspirational gatherings, guests can also use our transparent shared Aurora Dome — a unique glass igloo surrounded by forest and equipped with a pellet stove, creating an unforgettable setting for conversations and creative sessions beneath the Arctic sky.
What if I do not need all 10 rooms?
For smaller groups, ONGA Boutique Lodge is offered as a private buyout experience. This means that regardless of whether you use two rooms or all 10, the entire lodge is reserved exclusively for your group. No other guests will be on-site during your stay. You may choose to occupy just a few rooms or the full property, but the experience remains fully private, giving you complete control over the atmosphere, pace and use of the lodge. This ensures total privacy, uninterrupted comfort and a truly tailored Arctic stay with the whole lodge dedicated only to you.
What is the price for a group stay?
Pricing for a private stay at ONGA Boutique Lodge depends on the season, group size, length of stay, and any specific requests or tailored experiences you would like us to include.
